Projects and Fall

I took a break from the Fall cross stitch I'm working on and I whipped this cute holiday house out in a month. It's in the computer room.

I did the Fall decoration for the door.

I saw a "quilting" idea in Woman's Day magazine last month and I decided to make a quilt for over the couch for Fall. It's made with craft paper and I drew in lines to look like stitches.

I know it's a little early for Fall things, but I've already started Fall cleaning. I've got 3 rooms done downstairs and only 2 left. I want to have the downstairs all done before September rolls around so that I can put out my Fall decorations and know that all the decorations I'm putting away are already clean and all the areas the decorations go are clean and ready.

Decals

I decided to use up some decals I had in the computer room since they go so good with the new border. I made this cluster over the shelves.

This is what I bought the decals for to put on the stair riser, but it was too big so I think it looks nice over the new window.

I put the little tag decals on the file cabinet. They're a little hard to see, but they go with the sayings in the border and the pictures sort of go too.

Computer Room Redo

I painted 3 walls in the computer room. I left the long hallway wall the light creamy color it was and did the other 3 walls in a light brownish tan color called Lady Finger. I put a new board print paper in the back of the computer armoire so it was a little brighter and you could see in there better. I added 2 small wreaths to the door. Don't mind the frame with nothing in it. I'm making a fun cross stitch to go in it right now. It's a house front with decorations for the seasons and holidays you can change.

I got this cute window for the room. I think it will be fun to decorate it for the seasons. I got the box stack and the doll along with it. I took the cow off of a hanging thing so I could display it.

This is a closer shot of the new border. It was simple and had cute sheep on it. you can see the wall color a little better too.

Happy Rudolph Day!

I'm way ahead of the game with Christmas so I'm just watching Elf today with the AC on. I only have to make a couple more orders and do stockings and gift cards when it's closer. I'm going to be redoing the computer room soon. I just made an order for a new border and a decoration for in there.

New Decorations

I got a couple of new things the other week. The little frog has grown on me so I finally bought it.

I got this jar and twisted the berries in it for the computer room shelves.

Fancy Lilac

I have this fancy lilac bush in the yard. This is the first time I cut flowers off of it because I want it to fill in some more. It doesn't smell as nice as a regular purple lilac, but it looks cool.

More New Things

I got this cute shelf. I had all the stuff to put on it. You'll recognize the candle and the star from a previous post and the crow hangy.

I got this little lamp at the same store. It's almost like the candle dish I have on the coffee table.
