Sprucing Up The Bath

I wanted to spruce up the bathroom so I got a new shower curtain, rug and valance. I got a new shower curtain and rug for the Winter too, but you'll have to wait until next Winter to see them.

I even put a fancy handle on the toilet and got black switch and plug plates.

More Stuff

This checkerboard caught my eye a couple weeks ago. I didn't know where to put it, but I decided to stick it on the shelf behind the jar. I think it looks nice.

I got the cats on the left and the "meow" cats recently. I made a whole cat shelf in the computer room. Usually, I get cows so it's a little different.

Some New Stuff

I got this lamp shade to match the runner I got for my hope chest in our bedroom. It has a little rip inside the top so it was 75% off.

This is the scarf I got for the top of the hope chest. I need to iron it still.

Cow Trio

I cross stitched three cow patterns and hung them together.

Wreath

I threw together this wreath yesterday. I got the idea from a sweater wreath in last month's Woman's Day magazine. I didn't have any sweaters to cut up and wouldn't want to ruin them if I did, but I thought maybe it could be made with old towels. I made it for the front door which is close to the lighter color in the wreath so I think it will be nice. It's a little smaller than I expected it to be, but I only used about half of each towel so I could add on if needed.
