Last Minute 4th of July Projects

Last week, I decided to make some crafts for the 4th of July. I ordered stuff and it came on time for me to get the stuff out for a few days. I made this wreath for the front door.
I got this cross stitch pattern on Saturday and spent all day Sunday making it. There was no outlining on it, but my fabric was a little too light so I had to outline the sheep and the white stars to make them show.
I was bidding on an arrangement and someone snatched it from me at the last second so I decided to make my own. I think it came out cute.

Living Room Decor

I took this shelf from the dining room and put it in the living room. I was trying to bring down a skinnier black shelf that used to be in the living room before I rearranged it, but it was too deep to look good anywhere. I put it in place of this shelf in the dining room and used that one in here. I got some mustard homespun to put on the shelves. I had to gather a few things from elsewhere to fill the shelves for now.
I got this stool and the one next to the shelf as a set. I added the little rusty star to the middle of both. Of course, I had to get stuff to put on them too.

Bathroom Functional Decor

I got this TP holder on Ebay. It had the star cutout and painted yellow so I thought it was perfect for the downstairs bathroom.
I got this towel holder to go with the new TP holder. It was flopping around a lot, but my Mom suggested the Command picture holders to hold down the bottom and it worked awesome.
I got this TP holder shelf for the upstairs bath. It's cute, but a little too bulky for downstairs use. I will either get another towel holder like the downstairs one, or we'll make one.

Woodworking

We've decided to try our hand at some wood crafts. We made a primitive toaster oven cover with fake drawers. I wish we looked online first so we would have make the top over hang a little, but it was our first major project and it came out good.
My Mom and I saw a recipe holder like this in a catalog, but it was way too big. We replicated it, only smaller. This project took a lot more skill and tools, but they came out really great.
